Another late 2011 entry. Way to start the year, Rowan!
Anyway, 2010 has been quite an “interesting” year for me. After reading entries from my blog for the last year, I’ve realized that 2010 has been the year of disappointments and A LOT of waiting.
Nevertheless, 2010 has also been generally a good (but mostly uneventful) year for me: I’ve spent time with old friends and met a couple of new ones; after leaving a public hospital, I got the chance to work in a private one; and after spending most of the year broke, I finally had enough and decided to get a real job (that earns me real money! yay!).
Hopefully, this year, I would get the chance to spend more time with the people I love, go to places I haven’t been to, and experience things I haven’t experienced yet.
Hopefully, this year, my career wouldn’t be such the shitfest it has been the past year. And although one shouldn’t wait for the year to end to make changes and make up for past mistakes, I would still take the change in the year as a cue to be more proactive and conciously better myself.
Hopefully, this year, I wouldn’t get attacked by my yearly laziness and actually make good on my promises.
